Family members of children diagnosed with cancer face the extremely difficult challenges when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Often mothers bear the brunt of this family burden most. This program offers them the opportunity to talk with other mothers of children with cancer, and to rest, relax, and be pampered and revitalized. They are able to spend a day at a salon with women who have shared similar experiences and who know what it is like to endure the difficult task of caring for a child with cancer.
