Helping Adolescents Step Out Feeling Fabulous (HATS OFF) program
offers girls diagnosed with cancer with the forum and opportunities
to develop a healthy body image and increase their self esteem and
confidence. A cancer diagnosis is a traumatic experience, both physically
and emotionally, and can cause permanent damage to the healthy development
of an adolescent girl. HATS OFF provides these girls with the support
and encouragement to develop a healthy sense of self, despite their
diagnosis.
